After an unusually quiet July at the Melbourne, FL campus, a good thunderstorm finally hit while I was there with my camera. This video fast-forwards through most of the storm but returns to normal speed for the big lightning strikes. Unfortunately, almost all of the close lightning strikes were not in my camera's field of view... Luck was not on my side.
The video was taken from the Link Building at Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL. I would rate this in my top 10 storms I have witnessed at the school, but it's definitely not in the top 5. Hopefully bigger storms to come!
