Ambanad Hills is a hidden gem in the Kollam district of Kerala, located near the famous eco-tourism destination, Thenmala.
Often called the “Mini Munnar of Kollam,” it offers a peaceful vibe with tea and clove plantations—but don’t expect perfect, manicured estates like in Munnar. Ambanad has its own unique charm, and it’s best enjoyed without comparing it to other locations.
🕗 Entry Time: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
💵 Entry Fee: ₹100 per person (Cash only – UPI not accepted as of now)
This is a private property, and the road leading to the top is narrow and partly off-road. It’s better to visit on a bike or a 4x4 vehicle. The views are stunning, and I feel the place would look even more beautiful after the rains.
