Cyclone Alfred is moving away from the QLD coast however is expected by all major forecast models to turn back around on Tuesday night before heading towards Brisbane and the Gold Coast, where a historic and incredibly powerful cyclone is forecast to make landfall, comparatively speaking. Alfred will bring ashore winds as high as 150km/h and rainfall accumulations approaching 700mm. Stay safe and prepare now to survive.
