Last week, during the two F1 TPCs tests I attended in both Fiorano and Imola circuits, I managed to record the 2025 rookie Gabriel Bortoleto driving the Alfa Romeo Sauber C43, the car that Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guan Yu drove during the 2023 season
Bortoleto is going to make his F1 debut in Australia in just over a month time, and this opportunity was used mainly to teach the Brazilian some of the most important procedures, such as the starts, pit-stops and how to manage the car in the cool down laps. The C43 didn't lap that much that day, with just around 30 laps done around the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari
Bortoleto arrives in F1 after a succesfull run in the feeder series, where he managed to secure both the F3 and F2 championships in 2023 and 2024 with Trident and Invicta Racing respectivly
