Neap tides and a window to fish during a high tide. Not my preferred conditions for fishing for flathead. I decided to head into one of the many skinny creeks along the western side of K'gari - Fraser Island to chase flathead. With the water temp starting to rise these fish will start to enter the creeks soon to spawn. Casting soft plastic lures while gently moving through the shallows would have to be my favourite style of fishing.
