In this video, we'll feature the beautiful lake Hakanoa, gardens and outdoor cathedral located in Huntly, New Zealand. Huntly (Māori: Rahui-Pōkeka) is a small town in the Waikato district and region of the North Island of New Zealand. Huntly makes an interesting stop between Auckland and Hamilton / Rotorua / Taupo or vice versa. It has beautiful lakes and gardens.
It is also New Zealand's largest thermal power station, situated in the area which is New Zealand's largest producer of coal, producing over 10,000 tonnes a day.
