Good News for Navi Mumbai: 14 AC Local Trains on Harbour Line from Jan 26

Описание: Central Railway is set to reintroduce air-conditioned local train services on Mumbai’s Harbour Line from January 26, calling it a Republic Day gift for commuters.

Speaking to Free Press Journal, the Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) said that 14 AC local services — seven in each direction — will operate on the CSMT–Panvel route, primarily benefiting Navi Mumbai commuters.

The services will replace existing non-AC locals and include peak-hour timings to improve commuter comfort without increasing the overall suburban train count. The move marks the return of AC locals on the Harbour Line after nearly four years.
