Asia and the Pacific boast an incredible diversity of foods, farming traditions, and local wisdom passed down through generations. While the region is key to global food security, it faces growing challenges from climate change and biodiversity loss to an aging farming population and declining youth interest in agriculture.
In this video, youth representatives from the World Food Forum National Chapter in the Republic of Korea explore the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS) site of Hadong Tea, raising awareness on traditional practices and modern challenges, and the role of youth.
