This is the budding idea of how to create RPG maker assets in Blender. It largely revolves around dispelling the notion that 3D is difficult and slow to work in. While there is a steep learning curve to Blender and it is a huge program, once you've got the basics down it's far quicker than working in 2D.
Secondly and more importantly, this video tackles the problem of converting 3D models into the strange perspective of the RPG maker style.
This is not a tutorial, but rather the demonstration of a budding idea, that once refined could/will be wicked.
