What if Super Mario Land were on the Game Boy? Wait...
Well here's a Game Boy de-make of a modern remake of a Game Boy track. How deep does the rabbit hole go?
I'm accepting requests for arrangements!
This was created in FL Studio with a hardware-accurate DMG-CPU simulation plugin, so it's produced only with sounds the original Game Boy can create.
Rather than completely transcribe the introduction from the Brawl Remix, I decided to begin as closely as possible to the original, original track, but it foreshadows the evolution within the first 12 seconds or so. I wanted to create as dramatic an impact as possible when shifting from launch day Game Boy audio aesthetic to the evolved approach.
