Dinosaurs, giant reptiles, and the first mammals lived by ruthless laws of nature. Every hunt could be the last. Mammoth Augustus searches for food, unaware that deadly encounters await him. Carnotaurus hunts with speed and precision. Raptor packs take desperate risks, attacking massive herbivores. Pteranodons circle above, watching for an easy kill.

On land, the fight for territory and offspring never stops. In the oceans, danger is even greater. Saber-toothed cats approach the water, unaware they are being watched by a mosasaur. Yet even the mosasaur is not the ultimate predator — megalodon and the ancient whale Leviathan rule the depths.

Then comes the catastrophe.
A meteor storm strikes Earth. Fire rains from the sky. A colossal impact reshapes the planet, covering the sun in smoke and ash for years. Fire becomes the greatest enemy of all life.
