Welcome Sergeant
The Welcome Sergeant will greet all visitors and guests to the corps in a gentle and friendly manner before and after each service. S/he will keep a supply of welcome packets available and ready for distribution and will keep track of visitors. The Welcome Sergeant should work closely with the Recruiting Sergeant to make sure that follow-up occurs for all visitors. Follow-up should include a visit, if possible; a phone call; and a note from the Corps Officer(s), a small group leader, and/or a Sunday school teacher. The Welcome Sergeant should also recruit, train, and schedule a Welcome Team to assist in welcoming all who visit the corps, whether on a Sunday morning or at any other time.
