In this project video I cover the construction of two ballistic shields I made, modeled off the BZT-75. the goal was to make one level 3a(pistols) and one level 3 (m80, 5.56, 7.62x39) rated. Ballistic testing will be done over the weekend, so make sure to subscribe! They ended up being quite lightweight and cost effective, so I'm excited to see how they do. material list:
18 OZ Woven Roving fiberglass: https://www.tapplastics.com/product/f... I used 10 yards for both of the shields, if you were building one of your own you'll only need about 7 yards.
