First time visiting the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij (VSM) in the Netherlands for their annual steam festival "Terug naar Toen" which roughly translates into English as "Back to then", as in back to the days of steam.
Event takes place over one weekend in early September featuring 10 German steam locomotives with a mixture of passenger and freight services on different sections of the line between Apeldoorn and Dieren. The event is probably one of if not the closest example in Europe to a steam gala on a UK heritage railway, but still very different.
