Описание: *Ram Mandir Donation Case: Supreme Court Issues Notice to Trust | What Happened in Today's Hearing?*

The Supreme Court has taken a significant step in the Ram Mandir donation case by issuing notices to the *Central Government**, the **Uttar Pradesh Government**, and the **Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust**. The Bench led by **Chief Justice Surya Kant**, along with **Justice Joymalya Bagchi* and **Justice V. Mohan**, heard petitions seeking an independent probe into allegations of donation fund misappropriation.

During the hearing, the Court directed the Uttar Pradesh Government's Special Investigation Team (SIT) to file a *status report* detailing the progress of its investigation and the composition of the SIT.

Solicitor General *Tushar Mehta**, appearing for the authorities, informed the Court that the status report would be submitted in a **sealed cover* and requested that no notice be issued to the Trust. However, the Supreme Court declined that request and proceeded to issue notice to the Trust.

The petitioners also sought preservation of CCTV footage and other evidence. Responding to this request, the Chief Justice remarked, *"Save your energy. You are required to use it outside also."* When the petitioners asked for a copy of the status report, the Bench clarified that the matter would be considered later, observing, *"It is an ongoing investigation."*

*Important:* The Supreme Court has *not* reached any conclusion on the allegations or ordered a CBI investigation at this stage. The case remains under judicial consideration, and today's proceedings were limited to issuing notices and monitoring the progress of the ongoing investigation.
