New London Underground Line for the channel! Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Northern Line's 1995 Stock from Waterloo Station to Kentish Town.

You'll be able to hear all station announcements from Waterloo to Kentish Town. You can hear and see the train entering stations/decelerating, and departing/accelerating, from the platform or inside the train. Subtitles are available so you can understand everything being said, and all the relevant sounds like door opening and door closing sounds, as well as the compressors during some parts. Oswald Laurence's "Mind the gap!" announcement can be heard at Embankment.

This train was going towards High Barnet. Identity code was 102. The train numbers I see are 51671 and 51670 on the front and back of the train respectively. Alstom manufactured, own and maintain these trains, which you can see as I step into and step out of the train.

I start this video by the last set of doors in the final carriage but move to the very back of the train as someone sat opposite me and I'd rather not film people boarding or alighting the train.

Confession: I... don't like the Northern Line as much as the Jubilee Line. I went on here for two reasons - 1, to add this line to my stations spreadsheet, and 2, to try and force myself to like this/give it a proper go. I have grown to like the sounds of the motors a lot more after filming this, and the announcements and sounds. As a train I enjoy riding on it, but the seats are noticeably dirtier which puts me off using them as much as I'd like to.

Makes it hilarious that I'm uploading this of all videos on my birthday, but it just be like that sometimes. Enjoy!
