Nanoknife focal therapy uses irreversible electroporation (IRE) technology, which targets and destroys cancer cells by creating small defects in the cell membrane, causing apoptosis and irreversible cell death.
Compared to traditional prostate cancer treatments, the Nanoknife System provides excellent cancer control while preserving erectile and urinary function. The 1-2 hour procedure is performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient center, with no overnight hospital stay required.
