Do Gray Root Sprays Really Work?? | FAB or FAIL

Something a lot of people actually don’t know about me is that I have a TON of gray hair! I stay pretty on top of it, and I get my roots professionally touched up every few weeks. In between those salon touch ups, my gray hair still loves to peak out and shine bright, right around my face, along my temples! 🤦🏻♀️ Who can relate?? 😂

I’ve always been on the hunt to find the perfect gray root cover-up, so today I’m testing different sprays, powders, and even tinted dry shampoos!

Overall, I have to say that my preference is definitely the sprays over the powders or dry shampoos. I’m still a tad frustrated with the sprays, because I can’t seem to find one that doesn’t transfer a little bit of color on to my hands! They’re worth it in the long run though, and they save me a ton of time (and money) in between salon visits! Definitely a FAB from me! 👍🏼

My favorite product is the Salon in a Bottle (which you can get on Amazon), however, the best bang for your buck is the L’Oreal spray, in my opinion! Salon in a Bottle is a whopping $22 per bottle, while the L’Oreal is anywhere from $8-$10, depending on where you do your shopping. It’s also sold at most of the major retailers, so it’s much easier to just pick up while you’re doing other grocery shopping!
