Описание: Thomas Frank came to Berlin to promote the German translation of his most recent book, Pity the Billionaire (Arme Milliardäre), which compares the economic situation of today with that of the Great Depression. Speaking with journalists at the U.S. Embassy, he covered topics as varied as the deregulation of markets and the importance of rhetoric in winning elections. Frank is particularly interested in each party's fight for the perception of representing the "average American" in the upcoming presidential election.
