Welcome to an in-depth look at the Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) Laboratory at Mutah University, Jordan. In this video, we showcase advanced simulation capabilities and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing methodologies applied to modern power systems.

⚡ RTDS Infrastructure: An introduction to the Mutah University setup and interface.
⚡ IEC 61850 Applications: Testing digital substation communication protocols (GOOSE & SV) and interoperability.
⚡ HIL & SIL Testing: Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop configurations for relay testing and control verification.
⚡ Renewable Integration: Real-time simulation of Photovoltaic (PV) plants integrated with the Jordanian grid.
⚡ Grid Stability: Utilizing STATCOM for voltage support and reactive power control.
⚡ Frequency Analysis: Analyzing system inertia and frequency response during disturbances.
