When replacing welded-on panels, its common to create adjacent panel damage. It is an often-unavoidable byproduct of the repair process, and the labor times do not include for the necessary steps to repair the damage to adjacent panels resulting from normal cutting, welding and grinding procedures. It’s also a commonly overlooked operation on the initial repair plan. As an example, Mike and Danny review the adjacent panels that would be affected by replacing a rear body panel. The amount of damage can vary considerably, is left to an on-the-spot evaluation to determine the labor necessary to correct.
