Celeste Mod: Golden Ridge M-Side Demo

Описание: A mostly finished version of Chapter 4. I am not done with it per se, but my focus has been sporadic. Chapter 5 is in a similar state, and Chapter 6 is barred by quite a bit of code & animations necessary for what I plan on doing. I've started on Chapters 7-9, but the kind of design required for those is necessarily a major departure from the expected structure of a Celeste chapter.

If you don't know, M-Side is a campaign I'm making to explore Madeline's Bow & Arrows, an ability I modded into Celeste.

I wanted to show something off, just so that everyone knows that I am still alive and I am still working on it. If I do show something off again, it'll either be Old Site, a small thing, or a miscellaneous thing. (Like a strawberry room or a custom remix of music)

Chapter 4 sees the introduction of Refill Balloons, which well.. refill Madeline's dash and stamina when popped. I think they pair nicely with the green boosters, which is why they're here.

You might have also noticed that Madeline has a few new animations! Don't worry- these are just visual, so her base movement is still identical. M-Side is supposed to be set some time after Farewell, and I wanted to reflect that passage of time in the animations. Mostly by changing her posing & motion to be more self-assertive and confident; as if she knows herself better than before. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
