In this short film, you’ll meet Robert, captured at his lowest moment through raw bodycam footage from a January 2020 arrest in Spartanburg County. Cold, exhausted, and desperate, he says what so many are afraid to admit out loud: “I can’t take it anymore.”

But that night didn’t end his story—it changed it.
Robert tired and broken. This was the moment his old life ended. I'm going to prison for the rest of my life. At that point, I knew like it was either live or die. I got on my knees and I prayed. I said, "God, I'm tired of living my way."

After jail, a simple visit brought a door of hope back into view. Through GoForth Recovery, a Men's and Women's Residential Recovery Program & Transitional Living Home for Alcoholics & Drug Addicts in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Robert found community, accountability, faith, and the tools to rebuild what addiction had taken. What follows is a transformation marked by restored family relationships, renewed purpose, and a life that looks nothing like the one he used to live.

The final moments bring it full circle—an emotional reunion with the arresting officer and a detention center leader who witness the difference firsthand.
