Описание: My tribute to Almo for his remarkable 2012 rookie season. Unbelievably, as slow and subtle as Alf is most of these clips are using only runs of 10 yards or more...and I couldn't use them all! A-Train had quite a season from the first preseason game on.

When his pick was announced I was a little upset because I pulled up a highlights package from college on you tube and he looked to be the exact same type of back as Roy and Evan. Then, at the beginning of training camp, I looked at that highlight package again and suddenly got VERY excited. I noticed a subtle difference in his running style, forward body lean and excellent balance and drive. As a matter of fact, I knew that because of his subtleness he would be a fantastic fit in the zone run scheme. I believed that so much that I got into a running argument with a reporter out of Tampa as he tried to start something with a rumored trade for Blunt. I warned him then (about two weeks BEFORE training camp) that Roy and Evan had already proven that they were more versatile than Blount but the kid to watch out for was the RB FOURTH on our depth chart. I told him that by week three this kid could be starting for us and that he was the best rb that we had...

Boy, did I see that one right (because it's all about me and my talent evaluation skills!!!)

Actually, I was wrong because he took over as a starter in the third week of the PRESEASON! Effectively putting an end to Tim Hightower's (up to now) career!
