রোববার (২ ফেব্রুয়ারি) বিকেলে ঢাকা মহানগর দক্ষিণের আয়োজিত এক কর্মশালায় তিনি এ মন্তব্য করেন।

সংস্কার প্রস্তাবের আলাপ-আলোচনা যত বেশি দীর্ঘায়িত হবে দেশ ততবেশি সংকটে পড়বে বলে আশঙ্কা প্রকাশ করেছেন বিএনপির ভারপ্রাপ্ত চেয়ারম্যান তারেক রহমান।

সংস্কারের আলোচনা দীর্ঘ থেকে দীর্ঘতর করতে থাকি তাহলে যেই স্বৈরাচারকে বাংলাদেশের সব মানুষ একত্রিত হয়ে দেশ থেকে বিতাড়িত করে দিয়েছে, সেই স্বৈরাচার সুযোগ পাবে দেশের মানুষের কাঁধে চেপে বসার।
