This video explains in a very simple way the full story of "The Railroad Ghost" (Oxford English Class 5, Chapter 6), its main characters, moral lesson, and important question–answers for exams.
Short summary:
On a mysterious night, the British Express train was passing through a thick fog, and Queen Victoria was one of the passengers.
Suddenly, a ghostly figure appeared in front of the train, signaling it to stop.
The engineer stopped the train, but when they checked, they could not find any person.
When they went further, they found that the bridge was broken. If the train had not stopped, a big accident would have happened.
Later, it was found that the ghost-like figure was actually a big moth, which came in front of the train’s headlight and created such a shadow.
This incident is considered a message from God, and that moth is kept in the Natural History Museum, London, by the name “Victoria Moth.”
The story teaches children to be brave, stay alert, and believe in miracles.
This video is extremely useful for Class 5 children, teachers, and parents, especially for help with homework and exam preparation.
