Asura and Taisha have a final showdown. Taisha goes down and to his surprise Asura finds his core inside Taisha. Taisha tells him to eat the core so he could be with Asura together, but Asura refuses and breaks the core, telling Taisha, "I'm not a Celestial, I'm Asura." Before dying Taisha was like "You've gotten a lot stronger, every time I thought I've grown, you've evolved further." Then Asura flashbacked to his mother dying the same way as Taisha, stating that Taisha "probably has the answer but you couldn't give me the answer anyway". Then he goes and smashes Trayastrimsa, celestials main land(rock/meteor) falling down. Ashura then gets it's powers and uses that to re-write history to an extent. This is what happens after that, at the end of the CG, the narrator says, "there was another ending to this: They say that the king defeated the Mara demon(Ashura) and sealed him in the abyss." Then it panned to Asura who creates a lotus in his hand, saying he wants to go back and meet his light(Taisha).

Apparently Taisha is not dead and the story goes the same way as the narrator mentioned. Taisha is loved by all as he saved the Celestials from the Mara and sealed him, BUT here's the catch: he doesn't remember Asura at all. Apparently Asura returned Taisha's spiritual entity (the core?) back to him and somehow changed the timeline, also creating this amnesia in everyone, including Iba and Shuten (maybe, Shuten might remember). Only Orochi and Asura remembered everything, but Orochi was mad that Taisha can't keep the deal because he forgot about it. However, Taisha has some memory of Asura but didn't know it's Asura. Also at the end, Taisha was attacked by some demon army, but a black figure saved him, heavily implied that it's Asura. The ending went with "their story just started" or something.
