Me.and Hayden headed back to Alton Towers for the Pirate Takeover event February half-term 2026. This visit turned out to be far more amazing than we expected.
Alton Towers opened Wicker Man for the final 3 days of this event, we just had to get as many rides as possible on this amazing ride. The atmosphere around the park was incredible, we loved all the pirates around the park, giving us lots of laughs throughout the day.
We were also lucky enough to see the new upcoming Bluey roller coaster testing before its opening in spring 2026.
From the thrilling Wicket Man (with only a 5 minute wait) to pirate chaos, this was such a fun and memorable day at Alton Towers.
