Yesterday was one of those real-life parenting days 🤍
In our previous vlog, Emir was sent home from school because he wasn’t feeling okay and seemed stressed. So in this vlog, he was already home with us, and we had his morning doctor’s appointment to make sure everything was fine health-wise.
Thankfully, the doctor reassured us that physically he’s absolutely okay. It may be more sensory or behavioural triggers rather than a medical issue.
Emir was slightly happier in the morning, so we decided to keep him home and monitor him ourselves. He had his ups and downs throughout the day — happy one minute, emotional the next — but mostly he did okay 🥺
We also:
• Went grocery shopping
• Bought new school shoes for Parishay(and she actually liked them 😅👏)
• Made desi saag with broccoli & kale
• Made missi roti in the tandoor
• Went out late night for dessert — knafa & milk cake 🍰
• Ended the night reading your lovely comments
