A family from Malindi town in Kilifi County is living in fear after goons descended on their home and demolished houses warning them to leave the land. The family was forced to brace the cold night after the goons numbering more than 100 and supervised by people in two vehicles tore down two houses and a kitchen dead in the night. Led by Jacob Hinzano, the family now demands justice and intervention of the political class after what they termed as an attempt by a local tycoon to grab their four-and-a-half-acre land.
