In Mark 8, Jesus feeds the hungry crowd with just seven loaves and a few fish. Can you imagine the doubt in the disciples’ minds? They questioned, "How can we feed all these people?"
But Jesus teaches us that abundance comes from gratitude and faith. After feeding 4,000, He reminds the disciples of the leftovers—proof that there's always enough when we trust.
Sometimes, our hearts can harden to the miracles around us. We forget His past provisions and worry instead. But Jesus encourages us to remember.
We also need to be alert for "the yeast of the Pharisees". In the same way that yeast has an impact on the entire loaf of bread, unbelief can work it's way throughout a person's heart or even a whole group of people. Be on guard for those who are not willing to believe, regardless of how much of the Bible you share with them or the evidence of a God has made all creation.
