This week I’m sitting down with Priscilla Perez, a birth doula from the Pasadena, California area, who has had all three of her babies at home. Not one hospital birth. Not a “let me try it once and then maybe.” She chose home birth from the very beginning, trusted her body, built her birth team, and walked straight into three powerful, transformative experiences.

In this episode, Priscilla shares each of her home birth stories — the long, slow 24-hour first birth, the castor-oil induction and midwife-assisted second birth, and the fast, late, deeply intuitive third birth. Every story is different, every lesson runs deeper, and every one of them carries a message that mamas desperately need to hear: you are stronger than you think, and with the right support, you can do this.
