February 28 is Rare Disease Day! Let’s help spread the word and raise awareness for patients, families and carers around the world that are affected by a rare disease.

We understand that for some people, the term "disease" implies that the condition might be contagious and for some it may have negative associations. However, sometimes it is necessary to use the term "rare disease" because it has widespread recognition. So, on this day, we join them and others in celebrating Rare Disease Day! – Thank you Unique - Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group for explaining this so brilliantly.
