Nihal Khan, from District Dadu, is a trainee of the Mobile Application Development course at PITP Phase 2, Batch 1. In this video, he shares how he learned to build complete Android applications from zero to advanced level, covering frontend design, backend logic, databases, APIs and application security.
During the course, Nihal learned how mobile apps are created from scratch. On the frontend, he worked with XML to design clean and user-friendly interfaces. On the backend, he used Java and Kotlin to handle application logic, button functionality and user interactions. He also learned how to work with databases, store user data securely, and connect APIs.
Throughout the training, he completed multiple practical assignments, including weather-based apps, WhatsApp-style and Instagram-style UI practice apps, movie applications showing upcoming and new movies, chat applications, and music player apps using internal storage.
For his final project, Nihal developed a secure Online Test Application with separate admin and student panels. The system includes login verification, MCQ-based tests, result management, and strong security features such as preventing screenshots and cancelling tests if the app is closed. Admins can manage users and tests, while students can securely attempt exams.
After completing the course, Nihal aims to take his mobile development skills to an advanced level, strengthen his portfolio, and continue growing through freelancing and online earning opportunities. Alhamdulillah, his earning journey has already started.
He thanks the Sindh Government, Mehran University and PITP, especially for the freelancing workshops that helped students learn how to turn skills into income.
