T’ On sije t’ emi titi.
The King of love my shepherd is,
whose goodness faileth never.
I nothing lack if I am his,
and He is mine forever.
Nibiti omi iye nsan
Nibe l’ o m’ okan mi lo;
Nibiti koriko tutu nhu
L’ O nf’ onje orun bo mi.
Where streams of living water flow,
my ransomed soul he leadeth;
and where the verdant pastures grow,
with food celestial feedeth.
Mo ti fi were sako lo,
N’ ife, O si wa mi ri;
L’ ejika Re l’ O gbe mi si,
O f’ ayo mu mi wa ‘le.
Perverse and foolish, oft I strayed,
but yet in love He sought me;
and on His shoulder gently laid,
and home, rejoicing, brought me.
Nko beru f'ojiji iku
B’ Iwo ba mbe lodo mi;
'Tunu lopa at'ogo re
'Gbelebu Re j'amona
In death's dark vale I fear no ill,
with thee, dear Lord, beside me;
thy rod and staff my comfort still,
thy cross before to guide me.
Beni ni gbogbo aye mi
Ore Re ki y’o ye lai;
Olusagutan ngo yin O,
N'nu ile Re titi lai.
And so through all the length of days,
thy goodness faileth never;
Good Shepherd, may I sing thy praise
within thy house forever.
