Original PRISM Broadcast with Chris Wheeler, Kent Tekulve, Andy Musser and Todd Kalas in game 1 of the 3 game series from the Vet.
Recorded and Digitalized off the original recorded VHS tape (original recording ends btw of the 9th with 1 out..tape ends) game was recently restored/remastered and making its debut since its airing on the Phenia Film MLB archival channel here on Youtube.
Starting pitchers RHP Mark Gardner (3-10 for visiting San Francisco and LHP Sid Fernandez (2-2) for home Philadelphia. Game is tied at 1-1 after 6 innings, and in the Giants 7th 3B Matt Williams hits his 9th HR, a solo shot (off Fernandez) removing Fernadez. Giants Right Handed closer Rod Beck comes in in the home half of the 9th inning giving up just 1 hit and earns his 9 save of the season, Gardner with the win and Fernandez the loss.
