Jaw injured elephant mother visited a village in search of food | Frightened grandma try to chase

Описание: Welcome back to our YouTube Channel. Today, we have brought some new experiences with the Asian Elephants. Here we can see a mother Elephant is feeding herself with Jack leaves and fruits leisurely. Few feet away from her, the baby Elephant is playing around. But this is not inside a forest but in front of a villager’s house.
As mentioned earlier in the previous video series, human-elephant conflict is common in Asia due to establishing agricultural lands through deforestation. This has led to limited space for these giants, and they usually come to the village areas in search of food.
The folks are staring at the Elephants from a far distance to avoid any property or life risks. But the old lady here tries to use her years and years of knowledge of living in these areas to chase these animals by not harming them. Most of these villagers are poverty stricken low income farmers increasingly competing with other species, such as elephants for space and resources. It is a traditional belief that elephants are scared of fire, thus this lady use genuine conventional faith to chase the giant by lighting a dried coconut branch. The intention is not to harm these fellows, but to protect their means of income.
Elephants are afraid of fire, but the mother Elephant remains calm. According to experienced villagers, the reason is to protect her baby from any harm. This mother's love shows that these animals are not so different from ourselves.
There is a specialty with this mother elephant. As we can see, her jaw has a weird embedded structure. She has faced an unfortunate injury due to a jaw explosive trap, which are unethical tools to get rid of Elephants. Even though she received proper medication from the Wild Conservation Department earlier, due to this injury, she struggles to find food in deep forests, visits the villages, and eats the villagers' crops. Understandably, the villagers are facing hardships due to Elephant attacks. Human elephant conflict is never-ending unless sustainable development is put into practice.

As you can see here, the officials from Wildlife Conservation Department use firecrackers to chase them away. They use the firecrackers safely, not to harm them but to chase them into the forests to save the crops of innocent people. But still, the Elephants remain calm as they are so used to these techniques.
After calmly finishing their meals, mom and the baby moves to the forest slowly. This struggle between humans and wildlife will never end if the relevant authorities do not make empathetic decisions. The animals also should be given enough space to feed themselves. For instance, in some areas, a separate band of crops is grown just for the sake of animals. Such humane techniques can be used to solve this long-lasting struggle between humans and wildlife.
