The story of Prophet Yunus (A.S) is a powerful lesson of patience, repentance, and the mercy of Allah.
When Prophet Yunus (A.S) left his people, Allah tested him by placing him inside the belly of a great fish in the depths of the sea.
Surrounded by darkness and complete isolation, he turned sincerely to Allah and recited this beautiful supplication:
“There is no god but You; Glory be to You. Indeed, I was among the wrongdoers.”
(Qur’an 21:87)
Allah accepted his repentance, heard his prayer, and rescued him from the depths of darkness.
This miraculous event became an eternal reminder that no matter how deep the trial is, Allah’s mercy is always greater.
