PROPOSITION
Clarissa Farr
An educational consultant and writer, Clarissa Farr was High Mistress of St Paul’s Girls’ School from 2006-2017. She is also a former President of the Boarding Schools Association and Chairman of the Girls’ Schools’ Association. Her first book, ‘The Making of Her: Why School Matters,’ looks at how schools can help inspire confidence in girls and is due to be published this August.

Julie Robinson
Julie is the Chief Executive of the Independent Schools Council, which represents over 1,300 independent schools. She is a former education and training director
at IAPS, former head of two prep schools and contributing editor of ‘Attain’ the leading magazine of the independent schools’ sector.

Natalie Bennett
Natalie is the former leader of the Green Party and the current Green Party candidate for Sheffield Central. Before entering politics, Natalie was editor of the The Guardian Weekly and a consultant for the UN on women’s and children’s issues. A life long feminist she is also a trustee of the Fawcett Society and founder of the blog Carnival of Feminists.

Robert Verkaik
Robert is an author and journalist, specialising in education. He has previously worked as the home affairs editor and law editor at The Independent. His book, ‘Posh Boys: How the English Public Schools Ruin Britain’ was published in 2018 to critical acclaim.
