A cinematic spy-jazz romp inspired by GoldenEye 007 (1997). Slappers, No Oddjob salutes the deadliest rule in split-screen espionage - four agents enter, one slaps their way to glory, and Oddjob stays banned for the sake of honor, balance, and everybody’s sanity. It’s a wink, a nod, and a full-on musical takedown of the game mode that defined friendships, destroyed friendships, and made legends out of open hands.
Based on GoldenEye 007 for the Nintendo 64, developed by Rare and directed by Martin Hollis. The game became a cultural landmark - redefining console shooters, inventing playground diplomacy, and giving birth to the sacred truth: No Oddjob. Ever.
This track channels that split-screen chaos through cinematic orchestral pop, spy-jazz swagger, and Bond-esque flair - brass riffs, stealthy strings, and rhythmic slaps echoing through the vents. Slappers, No Oddjob stands as a tribute to GoldenEye’s rulebook of legends, and to the glorious nonsense of multiplayer nights powered by caffeine, honor, and open-hand justice.
