CPP and CPE are primarily used in the packaging industry for food, clothing, flowers and other consumer goods. The FILMEX II for CPP and CPE applications is part of a new generation of Windmöller & Hölscher cast film lines. It is equipped with the latest generation of extrusion technology for excellent melt quality. Unique W&H screw design ensures consistent and homogeneous melt quality for excellent single layer distribution. Precise gravimetric dosing units lead to consistent metering of precious raw materials and additives. An integrated "High Performance Package" on the chill roll unit sets standards in film quality and process automation. The FILMEX II is equipped with a motorized air knife for fast and repeatable process set up. It’s special air flow design provides high clarity and uniform film properties across the full width.

Direct downstream processing

Precise web tension control in conjunction with the FILMATIC TC II cast film winder delivers constant, outstanding roll quality with large roll diameters up to 1300 mm for direct downstream processing of the film. No need to re-wind reels first! Fully integrated automation for controlling the cast film line through the intuitive graphical user interface PROCONTROL TS ensures maximum productivity. A variety of productivity modules enable high run time and superior film product quality.
