Описание: (Motodiaries #28) The Aguinaldo-led Magdalo surrender at the Pact of Biak-na-Bato is documented and well-known. But what about the Magdiwang led by its chief Mariano Alvarez a.k.a. Mainam? This shameful episode rarely gets noticed or given proper treatment in standard historical narratives. But they did and even shouted “Long Live Spain! Long Live the King! Long Live the Queen!” that sad day in April 1898. At that moment, Mainam probably regretted that he betrayed the Supremo Bonifacio and believed Emilio Aguinaldo in ditching the Naik Military Agreement which he signed and committed to follow “to the grave.” Such a moment of indignity and humiliation for someone who invited the Supremo to Cavite in the first place and left him to be attacked by the Magdalo wolves later on.
