Blanky is an indie and psychedelic rock band from Lawrence, Kansas. Here they are in the midst of tour, firing on all cylinders. There seems to be a lot of great music coming out of Kansas these days. Hope I get to catch these guys again sometime. ///

These videos are a part of an ongoing series highlighting independent/DIY artists performing live music, mostly in and around Chicago. My goal with this series is to document these performances, to help smaller artists find new ears, and to help people in our community (and abroad) find cool new bands. I hope this will make the Chicago "scene" a more connected, supportive, boundless, and long-lasting community.
