Описание: I shot this at the Bayfront Center in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. I've always felt that Billy Blanks was the overall best athlete to compete and win in point karate. This was sometime before he hit it big with Tae Bo.

When Tae Bo was peaking, my brother Jim and I flew to LA to spend some time with Billy. His school was the most crowded we'd ever seen. On a Monday morning, 11am class, it was so packed that Billy actually had valet parking to handle the flow.

Not only were his classes packed, but they were packed with Hollywood starlets which were entertaining, to say the least. At least until Jim accidentally sprayed a beautiful black girl with sweat. She was not too happy :0)
