In this recording of the December 2025 CCRN gathering, we hear from the Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership’s Dr. Kent Boyd. Kent holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Minnesota, with a specialty in Health Innovation and Leadership. He focused his doctoral studies on Planetary Health, community climate adaptation and resilience, and transformative systems change.
In this webinar, he explores the relationship between the changing climate and human health and how a set of vulnerability assessments and climate modeling tools have helped him to lead, advocate for, and advise community resilience hubs projects across Minnesota. He leaves us with some practical suggestions about programming we can run in our own communities that will help prepare the broader community to survive and thrive in the face of change.
