I had to be perfect. And if not perfect, then better. And if not better, then good.
And if not good, then what?
So I strive. But the more I strive, the more problems arise. Am I moving forward?
Am I going in circles? Am I moving backwards?
Have I forgotten? I was never going to perfect myself. It took the blood of Jesus
Christ to redeem me, it is on Him that my hope lies. It is on Him where change
starts.
“Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.” - Isaiah 40:30-31
