J&K: Operation Akhal Enters Day 3; 2 Terrorists Killed In Longest 2025 Counter-Terror Op

The operation, which began on August 1st, is described as one of the longest in South Kashmir in 2025. So far, two Lashkar terrorists have been killed and one has been injured, while one soldier has sustained injuries. Blasts and firing were reported through the night of August 2nd in the Akal forest area. According to a journalist on the ground, "this is one of the longest operations which continued for 3 days now in the South Kashmir in this year." The joint operation is being carried out by the Army, J&K Police, and other paramilitary forces based on specific intelligence about the presence of Lashkar terrorists in the area. The search and combing operation is ongoing.
