Chris Gayle produced the most astonishing T20 innings of all time when he smashed an unbeaten 175 off just 66 deliveries against Pune Warriors India in the 2013 IPL at Bengaluru. Opening the batting, Gayle launched a brutal assault, hitting 30 boundaries including 13 fours and 17 sixes to reach his century in just 30 balls. His extraordinary knock powered RCB to a mammoth 263/5, a total which in 2013, felt almost untouchable. Gayle's individual record score of 175* still stands strong even in an era of increasingly frequent batting conditions, showing that some records regardless of time, may never be broken.
