The shop music system is an ancient G4 Cube named Pablo, hopped-up with fan and audio out to an old-school amp. It runs 10.3.9 Panther and iTunes, all day every day, from an ancient 120GB Seagate HDD, since….. 2005? 2008? Anyway, a client saw Pablo one day and decided to donate two more machines to us, so suddenly we were awash in G4 Cubes. Naturally, first task was to make a working optical drive - which we did - two of ‘em, actually. (Third drive only spins and spits, still trying to get that one to read.)
There were a few other issues, too… so, we documented what we could and posted it in case it might be useful to other Cube affectionados. Enjoy!
