This is the perfect song to introduce the Dm chord to your students! If your students are ready to learn the Dm chord on ukulele, then they have likely already learned the C chord and the F chord. When I teach my students Dm chord for the first time, I relate it to F chord, which is the same as Dm but adding your ring finger to the second fret of the C string. Once students can go between F chord and Dm chord with relative ease, have them practice going from C chord to Dm chord and back again. Once they can do this, they will be ready to play through this video!

If this video is too fast for your students to accurately switch between the chords, try slowing down the video by clicking the settings wheel in the bottom right corner of the video and then changing the playback speed to .85 (or whatever speed you think will work best with your students).
